Annette Nikki Borchardt

is a member of the Indian Peaks Band of Paiutes and the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah. She holds a JD degree and a Certificate in Indian Law from Arizona State University College of Law. While in law school she worked as a research assistant on cultural resource issues; as a visiting student at the National Museum of the American Indian on protection of American Indian cultural property and cultural heritage issues; and, as a law clerk for Luebben Johnson & Barnhouse on various Indian law matters. She also participated in Moot Court competitions, was awarded the Honorable William C. Canby Jr. Scholarship, and graduated with pro bono distinction. Nikki holds a B.A. and M.A. in Cultural and Social Anthropology from Stanford University where she graduated with honors.
